Sea Freight Services — FCL and LCL from Morocco
Euro Africaine provides sea freight services for your international import and export operations — full container load (FCL) and LCL consolidation — from Casablanca, Tanger Med, Agadir and Jorf Lasfar. As a licensed sea freight forwarding company operating on the Europe-Africa axis, we combine direct agreements with the world’s leading shipping lines with on-the-ground expertise in Morocco. Sea freight remains the most cost-effective mode for large volumes — and the natural complement to our air and road freight services.
Sea freight services in Morocco: the mode that carries the bulk of trade
Sea freight handles the vast majority of Morocco’s merchandise trade. It offers the best cost-to-volume ratio, accepts virtually every type of cargo, and connects Morocco’s Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines to all major economic zones worldwide.
As international ocean freight forwarding specialists, we operate the main corridors from Casablanca and Tanger Med on a daily basis: Northern Europe (Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg), the Mediterranean (Barcelona, Genoa), West Africa (Dakar, Abidjan, Conakry), the Gulf (Jeddah) and Asia. Our direct agreements with the major shipping lines allow us to secure capacity and organise the consolidation of your shipments, including during peak season.
The trade-off is transit time. A shipment from Asia is measured in weeks, not days. This is why we do not systematically recommend sea freight: we propose it when the schedule allows, and suggest an alternative in air freight or express air freight when it does not.

FCL or LCL
Two container freight services options: FCL and LCL
The choice depends on volume, but also on the sensitivity of the cargo and the regularity of your flows.
FCL — Full Container Load
You have the entire container to yourself. It is sealed at origin and only opened at destination: fewer handlings, lower risk of damage, less time lost at consolidation hubs.
Standard sizes: 20-foot, 40-foot, 40-foot High Cube. Available options: refrigerated container, open top, flat rack for oversized cargo.
Recommended as soon as your volume exceeds around fifteen cubic metres, or for any fragile, sensitive or high-value cargo.
LCL — Less than Container Load
With LCL consolidation — one of our core ocean freight services — your cargo shares a container with other shippers’ goods. You only pay for the space you actually use, making international cargo services accessible even for a few pallets.
The trade-off is that passing through consolidation hubs at origin and destination adds a few days to the transit time and increases the number of handlings.
Recommended for small volumes, restocking shipments and non-urgent cargo that is properly packaged.
